We now head over to the live & also recorded railwebcam channel, Railcam, for some historic footage from this past couple of weeks. For the press launch of the new LNER Azuma trains now taking over the bulk of the class 91 & HST services on the ECML, Mallard takes a rare trip out of it’s NRM museum home on to ECML metals. Hauled by a pair of 66’s, Mallard is postioned at the south end of York Station for a photo shoot along side the Press launch Azuma train.
