An idea I saw at Warley idea for any modern tmd
This is something i saw at Warley show this year and I thought it was a brilliant idea & it’s something i’d like to do. Has anyone ever done this idea before and if so where can we find the engine?
I know it’s not the same loco but I noticed a similar project on George Dents blog page this evening using the Dapol 04 plastic kit.

I’ve seen this layout with the loco exposing its engine. Looks amazing, Really cool. Not sure I am brave enough to hack one of my models to bits just yet though lol.
I’m looking at hacking up an old Lima model or maybe buying a cheap secondhand non-runner to have a practice on.
