Archive Footage 1962 – Measured For Transport

For the bonus video this weekend, Benett Brook Railway shows in this archive footage from 1962 by the BTC a look at how oversized heavy loads were transported by rail & road. The focus of the story in this film is the movement of a transformer to the then-new power station at Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales. One that would certainly make for an interesting project to create in miniature form.
