Bachmann GWR/BR 12t Double Vent Van
Bachmann GWR/BR 12t Double Vent Van
Another model who’s tooling has passed hands amongst the ready to run companies. Orginally released by Mainline, was acquired by Bachmann & released into it’s range in 1991. It was offered in GWR & BR dark grey, brown, grey liveries. In 2001 Bachmann retooled & upgraded the model to it’s Blue Ribbon spec level, again offered in BR brown, grey liveries, GWR dark grey livery. A limited edition Virgin Trains livery was also produced in 2001 which we believe was for the Warley show. Weathered versions have also been produced as well.
The retooled version has a upgraded chassis, fine scale wheels, as well as small tension lock couplings & NEM sockets.
Key Features:
- Fine-scale wheels
- Fine detailed parts
- Fine printed decoration
- Small NEM tension lock couplings
- NEM coupling box
- Era early 1920’s to 1970’s
