Boxfiles
Here are my 2 new box-file layouts in 4mm. The first one is a dock scene with an operating Airfix crane (Maerklin crane kit-bash with separate digital controller) and Bilteezi warehouses, the second is a street scene with Langley houses and a railway halt.
Both box-files (and the ones to be built in the future) are connected with short pieces of track on railway arches. Track are Peco Code 100.
DCC controller is a Lenz LZ100 with a Hornby booster and a Lenz LH100 hand-held controller.
Both box-files can easily be closed for storage. The layout is easy to transport and set up.
Great little layouts, it is amazing what can be done in such a small amount of space.
Absolutely brilliant.
Brilliant layouts I built a basic one a few years back and keep meaning to give it another go, after seeing yours it’s back on the list 🙂
Great layout. Gives me a lot to think about. I don’t have much space but looking at your layout you don’t need much space.
Wow, these look amazing. I am currently building the Boxfile Industrial Layout from Scalescenes, but it is taking some time to complete. Thanks for sharing your modelling.
Wow, this looks terrific, may I ask a couple of questions??
1. What texture have you used for the quayside??
2. What manufacturer is the large boat in the water on the right please??
Many thanks for your help.

Hi Martin !
Sorry for not having enough time to answer you earlier 🙂
Thanks for the kind words on my 2 boxfile layouts.
The texture of the quayside is from Scalescenes kit T016 and the boat is from Anyscale Models, the DUMB BARGE in 1/72.
You’ll find both in the web and can order in their online shops.
