In this video by avocet1989, we take a look at some archive footage of a unique class of one the class 89 electric loco. Filmed at Grantham on Sunday 17th September in 1989, it was working the 15:30 1A24 service from Hull to Kings Cross. This class 89 locomotive took over & charge of this charge train at Doncaster. Seen here in it’s original livery & carrying it’s orginal name plate.
