Close Coupling System For UK Model Railway Coaches

The final stop we’re calling at tonight is our very own Iain‘s channel here at SMS HQ. In this video, we take a look at a close coupling system that is retrofitted to most makes & models of ready to run OO scale coaches. The one shown here is for Bachmann MK1 & Mk2 coaches, which realistically closes up the gap between the ends of the coaches, but cleverly opens up on the curves to prevent buffer locking. Iain says in testing he’s found it’ll also run through second radius curves okay too.
