Thank you Simon. Just wondering what the original purpose is of the spring which caused the short circuit (which you removed)? Without your instructive video we might all be struggling to work out what to do!
The spring is for holding the switch rails in place. On my own layout, I’ve also removed some of the center springs due to them causing some issues.
