FLEETWELL – PART 14

I’ve now added the concrete hardstanding to most of the docks area, using the download sheet TX134-00 which I glued to greyboard to achieve the level of the track work. After measuring the required distance between the crane’s running rails I fitted them in place and added the hardstanding to complete the area. where the container ship is moored.

I then placed the gantry crane onto the rails and moved the boom over the container ship and lowered the attached container onto the ship’s deck.

I now need to complete the dockside hardstanding and the container storage area.
