FLEETWELL – PART 15

Having completed all the viaduct arches and infills (see Part 6) I decided it was time to add the sections for one side to the layout. The second side won’t be fixed in place until I’ve added the wiring and LEDs for the open archways and a couple of the under arch businesses.

First couple of sections fixed in place:

I also designed and built some additional piers to hide the joints where the sections butt up against each other.

I also designed some coping and pier caps. For the finish for these I used the wall capping from the download kit – 85mm high retaining wall with inserts.

Completed fitting of one side

Stone face walling and piers added to inside face of viaduct wall.
