With the dark and dismal days of November I moved from the layout to my study and started to build the viaduct for the elevated section on the layout. I printed off a number of arch templates which I glued to card several times for stability, and laid them along the track to check for height etc:



Then I covered them with the Weathered Ashlar Stone that I downloaded from the club page and trimmed the templates. Again I placed them along the elevated section to see the effect:


Added some rolling stock to the track as well:



My next task was to think about arch infills and for those on the inside which would be the station car park area.
