FLEETWELL – PART 7
As well as building my viaduct I started the construction of my station platforms. I’ve used 1mm greyboard which I’ve clad with TX8100 Aged Red Brick. I’ve added corner pieces to give additional strength and to help keep the structure square:
There will be two platforms, both approx 1200mm in length, so I built them as two pieces which I joined together when it came to adding the platform surface.
For the surface I’ve used the TX203-00 Platform Texture with the buff tactile slabs and edge coping.
I then took a completed platform and just placed on the layout to check length and height:
Really pleased with the height:
