Heljan IWB Cargowaggon Wagon

Heljan released their version of the well known IWB cargo wagon back in 2007. Heljan’s OO scale model of the IWB, when first released by Heljan was a welcome addition to the range of UK modern image wagon models. Up until Heljan releasing their version of the IWB wagon, a ready to run form the IWB wagon in HO scale form is was/is available from the likes of Roco. The Heljan OO scale IWB wagon is another essential wagon for the modern image modeller. 

The model features a detailed moulded body with fine printed details. On the coupling side of things, the model has NEM coupling pocket sockets with removable small type NEM tension lock couplings. The wheels are fine-scale profile wheelsets. Fine details include wire handrails, separate detailed parts include, footsteps, ferry tie-down & handbrake wheels. Again, this model has been in use on my layout, since the model was first released. Proven to be excellent runners & make for another great addition to your modern image wagon fleet. Some weathered versions have also been released as well.
