Do I need to have both the main track & the programming track wired to program a loco?
I’m using the Hornby Wire (at the moment) & The digital power track which isn’t clipping down properly one side. The screen says everything it should do.
Hi Edward,
You need to wire both the programming track & The main track to the Elite as shown in the setting up section at the beginning of the handbook. So one pair of wires from the program outlet to the programming track & one pair of wires from the Track outlet to the main track. The two green push buttons need to be pushed down, then insert the wires & then release the green buttons. The wires will then be firmly held in place. The future option which is the best method is to solder the wires to the track for the best & most reliable connection
