This Hornby model uses ex-Airfix tooling. With basic detailing & printed details, a good model for beginners or those on a tight budget. Dapol tooling with Hornby acquiring the tooling in 1996. This model is based on the Mainline Railways GWR double vent van, which was tooled in China for Dapol. The model features finescale wheels as well as detachable couplings (Not NEM type).
