Making Sense Of ETH

Many Modern Image modellers are aware of the data panel sported by diesel and electric locomotives, most know what ETH means, but less are aware of the meaning of the number.

This article pertains to the mid 1980s scene but is still relevant today.

I hope that this posting isn’t teaching too many how to suck eggs, and conversely isn’t viewed as “rivet counting”, but will help others to understand what ETH is all about and help you to assemble prototypical rakes.
