Making Your Own Model Trees With Charlie

And finally tonight we head over to Chadwick to join Charlie who shares some of his tips for making your own model trees in this video. In the video, Charlie makes his own wire tree armatures, which look great but they do need quite a bit of painting and detailing to give them a really realistic appearance.
If you fancy having a go at making your own, then you can, of course, vary the type of foliage you use to create leaves and smaller branches on your trees.
Seafoam is great for creating finer branches and can indeed be used to create entire trees, with the use of additional foliage material or leaves.
Or if you fancy trying a complete kit, which can be very cost effective, the Faller Tree kits are an excellent starting point.
