Oxford Rail Carflat – OO
Oxford Rail released the model of the BR Carflat wagons during 2017. Carflat wagons were conversions built using coach under frames & designed to carry cars for motorail services, built between 1959 and 1975. Given the BR TOPS Code FVV.
Motorail was a service allowing rail users to load the vehicles onto a service train. The rail users would travel in coaches and relax on their journey. The service was disbanded in the 1980’s.
The model is designed to be used with Oxford Diecast road vehicles & is provided with a bag of wheel chocks for fitting to the car deck.
Model comes with metal wheels, metal buffers & NEM coupling’s. The model features many fine details.
