A new name to the model railway hobby of recent years is Oxford Rail, Oxford Rail as many of you already know is part of the Oxford Diecast/Hornby Group of companies. Oxford Rail is steadily increasing its range of model railway rolling stock & locomotives. One such wagon that has brought much needed variety to the steam era modellers is the LNER cattle van. Like the Dapol & Bachmann’s offerings with the GWR/BR cattle vans, Oxford Rail have brought to market a LNER Cattle van. The model features fine scale wheels, detailed chassis, NEM coupling pockets with removable small style tension lock couplings, metal buffers, brake pipes, the fine printed lettering details, finely detailed body. A number of detail errors have been spotted & reported on this model by the model magazine press.
Liveries offered include pristine, weathered, British Railways, LNER, as well as NE.
