Real world railway views

I am lucky to spend a bit of my life walking on the track of a preserved railway line – quite legally. During that time I have to take detailed pictures of structures. I also indulge myself and take the odd snap of the overal view, passing steam trains, etc.

It struck me that some of these pictures show details that might be of help to modellers and, as they are in areas where most cannot legally go, it would be useful to post them here.

Therefore, I have made a start – they are all entitled Real world railway views.

If there are particular items that you would like detail on let me know. I may have a shot, if not I may be able to take one over the next few months.
