Ribblehead Viaduct Walk

Talking of the Settle Carlisle line Iain has dug into his archives & takes us back to 2009 for a trip across the Ribblehead Viaduct on foot!! This was an organised event by the ‘Friends of the Settle Carlisle Line Group’ which gave rare guided walking tour across the viaduct & around the former shanty town site. This was only possible due to the line being closed for repair otherwise would have been impossible to do.
