Slow Train to Riccarton

In the third video this weekend, we join ageofthetrain to take a trip & look back at another lost railway line Hexham to Riccarton Junction. Filmed for TV, back in 1986. This video takes us along the route with archive footage, interviews some of the folk that travelled the line or worked on the line. Part of this long-gone route now lies under the waters of Kielder Water, an area well worth visiting, once things start to get back to normal with the current COVID-19 pandemic.
