Soldering droppers to your Track – it’s easy!

In the fourth video this weekend, we join our good friend Robert over at Bob’s Model Railways, for a back to basics tutorial video on soldering. Soldering can be a bit of a dark art to some of us, but it easy to do & a skill well worth learning. Robert runs through the basics & shows how to solder dropper wires (power Feeds) to your track. Robert has asked us to point out, he gave the incorrect size wire for the dropper wire. The wire is 16/.02 & not 15/.02 as mentioned in the video. Hopefully, Roberts’s video will be of help to those of us who have never tried soldering or afraid to do so. A skill worth knowing!!

Here’s the video…

Thank you for your wonderfully explained soldering video. You show all the detail and how and why soldering does not work and how to get it to work… I really appreciate your video. Could I contact you?
