Stobart Yard Diorama
I was over in Blackpool 01/02/2019 working on a Customers Stobart Yard Layout. Managed to trace a fault with the Yard Lights and with them working it’s now beginning to look good. Neil has added some details to the buildings I supplied and they are now really looking the part. The Toy-like Lima Truck Wash doesn’t look Toy-like anymore.
did you power these lights with batteries or a transformer?,
Hi Justin. The lights are mostly powered by a basic Hornby controller and transformer. Wired to the 12v DC output so the controllers dial controls the brightness of the lamps. Some other lights to be fitted on the next visit are 3 volt LEDS and will be powered by a cheapo battery box holding AA Rechargeable batteries. Hope this helps
