Summat Colliery

Next up is one from BRM as they take a look at ‘Summat Colliery’ a finescale 1950’s era colliery layout. This fantastic DCC controlled layout features steam & diesel traction. The layout also has an ambient background sound being played on an MP3 player.

Great Layout! I am just starting a model Railway and my dream is to have a colliery area and this will help me out so much and given me ideas. Love all your tiny bits of detail. 2-3 years teaches me a lesson! Thank You for sharing. Ant

Excellent Layout , needs more coal spillage around the loading area, I spent a lot of years “Dahn T’Pit” and they all have one thing in common loads of scrap items laying about everywhere especially outside the Fitters/Electricians shops and the storage yards were a modern days Health and safety inspectors dream please don’t take this as a criticism, just a observation.
