The 7 stages of scratch-building an N Gauge iron arch skew bridge – By Chandwell
For our first video, we visit Chandwell for a look at scratch building a fantastic iron arch skew bridge. Chandwell is building an urban scene that includes a high-level railway running across a city/town & a river. Taking inspiration from a railway bridge in West Yorkshire, Chandwell is replicating the bridge in N gauge/scale. The railway crosses over a river at an angle, so the bridge needs to be of the skew type, so it’s a case of scratch building the bridge. See how Chandwell gets on with his bridge-building project. Here’s the video.
Wow, a labour of love but so effective.
