Kit Spackman was the former tilt system development engineer on the APT-E Train Project. In this (part one of two) video, Kit gives an insight into how the APT-E project came about, how it developed & the technologies from & learned from it, are used in railways today. Also, you’ll find out why Rapido Trains who worked with Kit Spackman, included a model of a cheese sandwich on the actual OO Scale model of the APT-E!! This one is really well worth a watch.
