The APT from a different SLANT – by Kit Spackman (Part Two)
For the second video this weekend, a video by APT Channel/Kit Spackman (Copyright Kit Spackman © 2018) for a slide show & talk, presented by Kit Spackman. Following on from part one last week, we now take up part two by Kit Spackman. Kit Spackman was the former tilt system development engineer on the APT-E Train Project. In this (part two of two) video, Kit gives more insights on the APT-E & the APT-P (Advanced Passenger Train – Prototype) project came about, how it developed & the technologies from & learned from it, are used in railways today. This one is really well worth a watch.
Here’s the video…
I have total utmost respect for Kit Spackman, brilliant engineer
Hi Justin,
I’ve been lucky enough to meet Kit Spackman, an amazingly talented engineer. Hopefully, these two videos give a more in-depth look at what went into the APT project. Some fantastic images are shown in the video. Kind regards Iain
