Really enjoyed the video, I never knew they existed back then and in the UK to boot.
I live in Toronto Canada and we have double decker trains that are run as part of the Go-Train system. Naturally they are quite recent style trains.
I remember seeing these running into London Bridge station in the late 1960s. I think that they ran out to somewhere in Kent.

I thought they ran between Charing Cross and Dartford, Kent, they was limited by either tunnel width or height on other lines. Another problem was they took longer for passengers to get on and off because of the way seats were positioned.
