As the team are currently up in Scotland at Model Rail Scotland model show, we kick off this weekends videos in Scotland with archive footage of road trucks in the 1950’s. In particular, it shows footage of the now closed Glen Ogle line & the Killin Branchline. In the film the drivers can be seen manually unloading/loading cement & supplies for the Ben Lawers Dam construction.  This helps us date the film which shows Lawers Dam which was constructed between 1951-6 as part of the Breadalbane Hydro-Electric Scheme. Lots of kit ideas & modelling inspiration in this one!!
