Modelling Tip Of The Day – 73
This Modelling Tip Of The Day is an ongoing series, in which we’ll be posting a modelling tip that may be of use to the newbie right up to the seasoned modeller. Today’s tip is:
Don’t Work In The Dark!
Make sure your modelling area & workbench is well illuminated. A well-lit work area is essential to see what you are doing during modelling work, loco servicing, painting etc. Working in poorly lit areas can lead to eye strain & making mistakes on your modelling. Don’t make do & struggle in a poorly lit work area. Many types of lighting are available for doing detailed model work, such as a head-mounted magnifier with built-in lighting, freestanding modelling work lamps are just some examples.
Very good advice.
