This Modelling Tip Of The Day is an ongoing series, in which we’ll be posting a modelling tip that may be of use to the newbie right up to the seasoned modeller. Today’s tip is:

Make notes

Make a note or records of what materials you use in your modelling. Record brands of scenic products, brands of scenic items,  glues & adhesives, paints & pigments used. Record how you used them & in which order they have been used. Also along with what methods & techniques you used to create the scene or effect, & was it successful or not.

This will come in handy later on if you need to recreate the project, scene or item. Perhaps try other methods & compare notes as to which works best or gives the best results. Also handy for helping fellow modellers who may be not sure how create a particular scene etc.
