Modelling Tip Of The Day – 90
This Modelling Tip Of The Day is an ongoing series, in which we’ll be posting a modelling tip that may be of use to the newbie right up to the seasoned modeller. Today’s tip is:
Keep it Tidy
When applying glue, static grasses etc to your layout spend a little time to keep your work area on the layout tidy. If for example you are applying static grass to a lineside section, cover track work with masking tape & backscenes in newspaper or plastic sheet. This will prevent any over spray from the glue causing damage to the backscene, & other scenic areas that have been already completed.
Remove any locos & models out the way when painting & gluing, last thing you want is your pride & joy models from getting damaged. Take time to cover up floors to prevent any paint spills etc. Get into the habit of working tidy will pay off in the long run.
