Using JMRI to control your layout (Brief Overview)

For our fourth video this weekend, we join Richmond North Yorkshire Railway for a brief overview look at the JMRI & Throttle Control App. Computer control of layouts is growing in popularity & JMRI is one method that allows layout computer control & works with any or most DCC systems. You can create control panels, layout mimic panels, etc. It can even do things like automated running, for those that like to sit back & watch the layouts run without a human at the controls.

JMRI is a free open source program for DCC operation, which allows you to operate your layout via a computer, tablet, laptop, Smart Phone & iPhone. The free JMRI open-source program can found & downloaded for free here http://jmri.sourceforge.net/
