Yorkshire Dales Steam Model Railway Layout
This excellent layout is by Mouldy Raspberry on YouTube, who’s a months into constructing my his loft model railway. The layout consists of four 8×2 foot boards in a L shape. The layout depicts a single track Yorkshire Dales branch line in the late 1950s/early 1960s. It includes two stations, Buckdale and Pondon, and a large stretch of countryside. Each station has an engine shed and goods yard. It’s still very much a work in progress at this point so feel free to leave suggestions! The next jobs include adding WS water to the river, adding more bushes, trees and fences, adding another photographic backscene for the Pondon section, and further detailing. Locos featured are Bachmann’s WD Austerity 2-8-0 90441 and BR Standard Class 4MT Tank 80092.
I congratulate you on your presentation. So many film makers switch from one point of interest to the next without any consideration for the viewer. Your expert filming methods make looking at your suburb layout a real pleasure. All You Tubers take note of this technique…..well done.
